Data Access and Management

Data generated through the Microbes-4-Climate Transnational Access scheme will adhere to the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable). These data will support informed decision-making and remain accessible long-term via trusted repositories, ensuring broad usability within and beyond the project consortium.

See below a comprehensive Data Management Plan and Quick Data Management Guidelines that will guide the TNA applicant in handling, storing, and sharing data.

Quick Guidelines for Data Access and Management

Purpose: These guidelines aim to provide clear instructions on using the Harvard Dataverse instance and Trusted Data Repositories for efficient data storage and sharing within the project.

Scope: Applicable to all Microbes4Climate (M4C) consortium members and TNA users who contribute with metadata from their generated or owned data through the M4C Harvard Dataverse instances. The guidelines ensure that data management practices align with the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) and support seamless sharing and access across the project.

Data Management Plan

The DMP outlines strategies for managing all data assets generated or reused throughout the project’s lifecycle, ensuring adherence to Horizon Europe guidelines. The DMP provides comprehensive instructions for preserving research outputs generated during the project, including data from consortium members and outcomes from TNA grants.
Reinforce the importance of following the FAIR principles to enhance data reuse, accessibility, and interoperability. Proper adherence ensures your data’s value extends across platforms and contributes to the broader research community.
NOTE: The current DMP will be updated based on the specific guidelines prepared into the project.
